Rabbitry guide

How to organize rabbitry records without making the hobby feel heavy

A practical guide to keeping rabbit pedigrees, litters, health notes, sales, and daily tasks together without overcomplicating the barn.

Start with one living record per rabbit

The easiest system is one where each rabbit carries its own story: identity, pedigree, breeding notes, health, sales, tags, and the small observations that matter later.

Keep daily barn work close to records

A good rabbitry system should connect reminders, litter checks, and health follow-up to the animal or litter they belong to, not hide them in a separate to-do app.

Add detail as the rabbitry grows

You do not have to track everything on day one. Start with names, tattoos, pedigrees, and dates, then grow into feed, finances, tags, sales, and show history when those details become useful.
